Peintre Barnett Newmann (1905 – 1970), lui aussi, est le fils d'une famille des immigrés d'Europe centrale. Il est né à New York.

La photo pour triptyque "Sarthe - Juigné, 01-01-94" a été prise le 1er janvier 1994 matin, peu après l'aube, du jardin du château de Juigné-sur-Sarthe.
